classically lined motor yacht with spacious cabin
General
Steering system: mechanically
Other:
The Kooijman & De Vries Schooner is a spacious steel motor yacht, with a fixed wheelhouse and open cockpit that is covered with a cockpit tent. The yacht was originally designed as a motorsailer and has been in use as a motor yacht for quite some time. The rigging has been removed and is no longer present. In the cockpit is a bench with folding table. The Mitsubishi 42 hp diesel engine was newly installed in 2014, it has few running hours. A new Vetus electric bow thruster was also installed in 2021, which makes maneuvering easier. In 2022 the old paint was removed from the hull and repainted with 2-component paint. The underwater hull has also been repainted and applied with antifouling. The deck, wheelhouse and rear railing still need to be painted. The cabin roof has a solid teak deck which still looks good. On the bow is an anchor with manual windlass. On the transom are 2 steel davits including stainless steel hand winches that can be turned inwards.
