In total three motorsailers of this model were built at Bocxe ships- and boatyard in Ter Aar. The design was derived from the Sailaar 9.00 and custom made according to the wishes of the first owner. The current owner sails the boat without rigging, because of his inland sailing area. With a minimum air draft of approx. 1.50 m, the boat can easily pass under most bridges. The complete rigging including mast, boom, stays, mainsail and furling genoa are at the owners storage and are included in the sale. There is an anchor winch on the foredeck and two davits on the transom to transport a dinghy if necessary. The deck is fitted with teak. The spacious cockpit has a dinette and is covered with a tent. The windscreen has wooden frames. In addition to the steering wheel, there is also tiller steering. The Samofa Mitsubishi 6-cylinder diesel engine is placed under the cockpit. In the spring of 2022, new antifouling was applied to the underwater hull and the engine was fully serviced.
The interior is nicely furbished with teak woodwork. The galley along the portside cabin is well equipped with a sink, refrigerator, alcohol stove, a small oven and sufficient cupboard space. A boiler provides hot water. The settee benches have leatherette cushions and can be made into a double bed. In the forepeak is a heads with hand pump toilet and washbasin. There are hanging closets on either side of the heads access door. The large round portholes give the boat its classic look. There is also radiator heating in the cabin for comfort.
