Saga boats
Saga has a long history in building boats. Founded in 1960 with the aim to build boats of high quality and good seaworthiness. Local tradition of excellent craftsmanship is the main focus.
The yard
Saga Boats uses its own knowledge, reinforced by close collaboration with leading designers. Since the early 1980s the program has been expanded with semi-planing boats. The quality is of great importance to ensure seaworthiness. This gives Saga a common identity and strengthens the brand name Saga. It has resulted in a high second-hand value of the ships. A large part of the annual production is exported to the European market. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland and of course Norway itself. Saga is a quality label in both Norway and Europe.
SAGA 325
The Saga 325 is a very well thought-out concept and therefore also a real space wonder with its 4 fixed beds.
In the saloon is the helm, a spacious round seat, two large boating places and a luxurious combuis which is easily accessible from the spacious open cockpit. The large windows in the salon offer a good view on all sides. The large sliding windows in combination with the side windows that can be opened on both sides, as well as the large sliding doors give you the feeling of an open boat on beautiful summer days. In addition, there is a spacious bathroom with a good headroom, equipped with shower and electric toilet.
The salon is very spacious and light with full headroom. The U-shaped seating area can accommodate 6 people. Because all seats are at the same height as the driver's seat, all passengers have a clear view in all directions. The front section of the seating group can easily be converted into a double co-driver seat. By tilting the driver's seat, you can create extra bench space. The driver's seat is ergonomically designed to allow full control of all operations. The design was made with focus on functionality and clean lines. The combuis is equipped with an oven and the 85 liter refrigerator is standard. Furthermore, there is sufficient space for kitchen utensils and food present in the combuis.
The aft deck can be supplied with an L-bank and a removable table. Under the aft deck are accessible cargo spaces with a lot of space. The design of the swim platform provides an easy and safe entry. The steps at the side of the swim platform provide easy access to the aft deck. The aft deck is equipped with a canopy where a tent can easily be mounted.
This type of Saga is an ideal ship to explore the outer waters because of its high seaworthiness (CE-B). Of course you can also sail very well in the smaller inland waters because the ship is also very steady during the slow sailing because the ship is in possession of a continuous keel. The deep keel is a semi-planning model. The polyester hull is manufactured by means of vacuum injection which makes the ship light but also solid and strong.
All in all a nice boat for a longer stay on the water.
