A very friendly smaller Lemsteraak, very well maintained, long owned by the current owners, surprising layout which makes it a very pleasant ship.
Following a report from Jan Kooyman there has been an intensive refit in 2001. (At the shipbuilders Werkendam)
A lot has been renewed, such as hull and superstructure blasted and put in 2 comp. epoxy, new layout, new interior, new engine, etc.
The boat was already of good quality, the refit has contributed to the fact that the maintenance is relatively limited in scope.
The inside of the hull is insulated for extra comfort.
Major maintenance was carried out in 2014, at the shipbuilders in Werkendam, when the handy spud pole was also installed (works up to approx. 1.5 meters)
Consumption is 1.2-1.5 liters per hour at a cruising speed of about 9-10 km/hr.
Special layout, this is well shown on the accompanying video.
The boat is more spacious than you would expect with this length
Very large sliding hatch with an easy entrance to the cabin, also standing height in the galley
Lots of storage space, also under the cabin floor (is dry)
Handy closet at the entrance of the cabin on the left.
Headroom with hatch closed is 187 cm
Beautiful stained glass representing the zodiac (made by J.C.Timmer.)
New swords and blocks in 2009 (made by Frans van der Doe)
Zemtrap on the helm, 2 rope ladders.
