Viknes
At the end of the eighties Viknes came on the market with the Viknes 770. A quirky and seaworthy ship as we can expect from a Norwegian quality yard. It was the beginning of a long series of successful models. The Viknes ships are particularly lined and exceptionally strong, so sailing on the open sea is no problem at all.
After a steady growth period, the yard was startled by a major fire in the year 2000. A year later, a new production hall was opened and Viknes started a new model series. In 2012 the Viknes became 930 "Powerboat of the year".
Viknes is currently one of the largest yacht builders in Norway. All Viknes vessels are approved by the Norwegian certification body "Norske Veritas" under CE design category B
Skilsø 34 Panorama
In the design of the Skilsø 34 Panorama, the classic Viknes principles have been incorporated into the hull construction. A semi-planing hull has been chosen, but this model is different from the traditional Westland boats from Viknes.
An important part of the concept was to get a light and airy cockpit, which made the panoramic roof with a large sliding door a central part of the boat. In addition, everyone must be able to sit in the cockpit so that you can look ahead and participate in the journey.
Hull equipped with 2x Xenon bow light.
